In 1979 left the college to paint full time
1984 Artist in Residence, University of Southern Queensland, Toowoomba
1985-1986 Half standard grant recipient Visual Arts, Australia Council
1988-1994 Lived, worked and exhibited in Europe.  Continued to hold regular shows in Australia
1992-2006 Artist in Residence various colleges and schools
Since 1977 Finalist eight times in the Archibald Prize, Art Gallery of New South Wales
