Biography

Maureen Hansen is an artist living and working in Brisbane. She graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Queensland University of Technology and currently works as an art curator and a freelance fine art teacher.

Solo exhibitions of the artist include Domes & Dames, Soho House, London (1999); Brisbane Spring, Brisbane City Hall, Stevens Gallery (2000) and Lady LP’S, Rebecca Hosack Gallery, London, (2005). Selected exhibitions the artist has been exhibited in include Wide Angle, Coolloollah Regional Gallery (2002); 30th Anniversary, Wesley Art Collection (2007).

The artists work is held in the collections of the Redcliffe City Art Gallery, Wesley Art Collection, Ipswich Art Gallery Collection and numerous city councils across Queensland.
